Wink Recording Games

Whats a good program to record computer games while im playing? I actually have FRAPS but for some reason it records REALLY REALLY slow. Maybe theres something I need to do to speed it up i dunno.

But if not, are there any other good programs I could use to record games?

The same thing I to use in order to capure screen shots in Fear is one. That is GameCam a freeware found at http://www.planetgamecam.com/?locid=download

You have to play back the avi type files with something like Cyberlink's PowerDVD or WMP in order to save screens in bmp format. For posting some of those you will see GameCam in an icon at the bottom right.

Cool that program works pretty nice. Sounds recording is only for registered people though.

It was a free registration where they send an assigned password I thought. I looked it up when the prtscrn and F8 keys wouldn't capture screens in Fear. It does capture video clips you play back with the right player and can press the snapshot button on players like WMP and PowerDvd in bmp format. You will need to have drive space available since video files get large at times. It didn't work in Vista however just XP.

I use a freeware called Irfanview to open the bmp files and save as jpgs in a folder of choice. One example of what a snapshot from one of the clips recorded can be seen here.
