The Xtreme Music and Gamer (Fatal1ty) are practically the same except for the Gamer's Xram. The Xtreme Audio lacks the EAX Advanced HD 5.0

to tell you the truth that x fi sh*t is all lies.I own a x fi elite pro and my friend has an audigy 4 and i mabye notice a little diffrence in movies and music. But in games you could tell but if i was you i wouldn't buy an expensive soundcard.
I am happy with mine but its not worth the money.

People have to realize that games have to be able to support certain features of Xifi, ex. EAX and Xram, in order to fully utilize the card..... Otherwise, it's just another sound card.......
I upgraded from my Audigy 2 Value to Xifi XtremeGamer and some aspects are well worth the buy. I personally love the music playback and how it's able to simulate surround sound with two speakers, even more with headphones. The 'crystalizers' are somewhat over-rated unless you can spare a deep bass. They literally un-compress the sounds and you need equipment to utilize them. I have them off, but occasionally I turn them on with 5.1 speakers plugged in......... EAX support is really worth having and really makes the games sound a whole lot better.......

I have a X-Fi XtremeGamer and its so much better than the on board audio even with basic Logitech X-230 speackers everthing sounds better. Also most good sound cards have hardware decoders so take a load off the cpu. Matt
