Question Powerpoint movies

Well I have a slideshow of photos which I made into a slideshow on powerpoint with music over the top. But I want to put it on YouTube, which doesn't accept the fortmat its in (ppt). It doesn't give me the option to save it as a mov. file. Is there anyway of being able to put in into a format accepted by YouTube without buying extra software? Thanks!

Do those have 100% functional free trials? He doesn't want to pay.

I have great experience in this. If you are on a mac, you can do it through powerpoint. But otherwise, get camtasia, it costs money, but had a 100% functional trial (like 30 days or something) and it is simple to record it.
