Default Laptop question

Hi -

I am looking for a new laptop. No more then $1500.

Weight: Not that important, but prefer a lighter laptop.

Processor/Ram: Prefer an AMD Processor, and would like a lot of RAM, because I am going to be running up to 10 programs at once.

Space: Atleast 60GB HD.

Screen Size: As big as possible. At least 16"

OS: Prefer Windows XP Pro, but Vista is ok. (On some computers, if you read the end user license agreement, if you decline, they will send you a copy of the most recent OS system. When XP came out, I declined it, and they sent me a Windows 2000 cd)

Also, I don't know if this really matters, but if there are certain laptops that make better internet connections, I would really like that. And, I would like a laptop that does not have an express slot, so that I can put a Sony Ericsson GC89 PC card in, and connect using that.

Thanks everyone, really appreciate it!

I know it looks like I could find my own laptop, but there are so many choices.
