Default Old ram Errors, cause error in HD>? Help?

Hey guys, I need some help, im confused.

I had DDR-800 OCZ gold before..i had a error in one stick. I RMAed it and OCZ gave me pc2-7200 special opps 2gb dual channel kit in place for my patience in waiting durng the RMA.
My question is. Latley ive noticed a few weird things.

for instance.. i changed my Ram to 2T and i got freezing, id play games and it would freeze..put it back to 1T and its fine.

I cannot run a Disk defrag. im told theres bassiacly HD files corrupted.

Im getting weird things.such as the process Iexplorer.exe eating up all my CPu usage.

and it causes slow performance etc.

Its not the ram or my MB i just got the DFI NF590, and brand new ram.

Im guessing maybe..because i had errors in my old RAM and was running it wiwth the M2N-E, a KNown board with problems with the ram..possibly it causes a few files in my HD to corrupt or go wrong?

I was thinking a reformatt would help and do my good.?
Any suggestions?

Jeff
