March is colon cancer awareness month. :(
So this coming March will be a very difficult one for me. My mom died last year February 7th, 2006 from colon cancer.
With March being colon cancer awareness month, I made this thread to remember my mom, and for everybody to appreciate the people that they love everyday. This year has been very rough on our family, and its surreal to believe these events have happened. I am walking a 5k on March 31st for colon cancer. It will be a fun, sad, and emotional day. My grandfather died of colon cancer, although I never knew him. After he died, my mother wanted someone to name after him, and here I am today.

I'm sorry for your loss, in some way I think I know what you and your family are going through, my grandmother was killed in an accident a little over a year ago......
