I hate it when my memory leaks. It came out my ears once. Luckily I noticed it before it all came out and I was able to get ear plugs in (people think they are just to protect your hearing from loud sounds, not so). I caught the rest in a cup until it stopped leaking and I could use a funnel to put my memory back in.

Ok back to seriousness. Do you know what program has the leak? Your best bet would be look for a patch. There isn't really any other solution to a memory leak, all you can do is reboot.

My Internet is leaking, I'm running a Windows XP SP1 or SP2, i'm not sure if SP2 ever installed.

What do you mean by a "patch"?

No rebooting necessary when using WinRam Turbo Free. Run it and all the RAM that's not been released will be emptied. Works like a charm.

Does that actually work? I find those programs say they do stuff but actually do very little. I might give it a test run or two later.

It always did for me. When I rip LPs and cassettes to the PC using Nero Wave Editor's recording console, it's the only thing that empties the ram when starting a new rip. Otherwise I get glitches in the rip because of writing to the swapfile. Even restarting Nero doesn't clear it out. Also, when I close Netscape, the data in RAM isn't released until I run WinRam. Those are just two examples.

What exactly is your problem? Memory leaks can be due to a whole range of factors.

hmm, that might be a glitch in your software's coding, ALL the programs I use release most of their memory when I close them.

Your internet... what browser do you use?

A patch is a software update.
