okay building a lappy

i am looking to make a laptop, obviously portable, but size isnt the first problem. i am looking at a average speed processor from what my friedn says, it is made by mini-itx, i hope you have heard of them, but i dont know that they are great. the reason i am goin for one of their items is for size. i am looking at 100gig regular memory, and i dont know how much RAM to use. ati graphics card, sound for this computer doesnt matter.i plan to run basic games, not anything major and am wondering if so far it is good enough. lastly, what kind of company makes decent screens? thank you in advanced for helping
