Hello, I seem to have a serious problem with my laptop (Acer TravelMate 2410)
My laptop: Refuses to charge properly when on AC power Works fine on AC power alone Gives false readings on the battery status (goes 100%, 99%, 7% in the space of 10 minutes) Battery life extremely low even after an overnight charge with the laptop off I'm kind of worried now because I think it may be the socket and pin and I don't want to have major repairs on my hands, I need my laptop constantly, even though it is still under warranty. After speaking to Acer, they said it could be the battery and are replacing it under the warranty. If it is the socket and pin, how can I get this repaired? |
