No S/PDIF output from line-in
I have AC97 onboard sound card on my PC and I'm using digital output (SPDIF output) connected to amplifier. When I play music or movie on PC then I have digital output signal, but when I have audio signal on line-in or mic port, there is no digital output signal. Does anybody know if this is because of restrictions of my soundcard (Avance AC'97) or because of missing sw components or settings.
It is Realtec AC97 Audio card, driver dated 27.02.2004. I realy can not find more details about the card. It is on-board 5.1 audio card comming with soltek motherboard 75FRN2 series. |
