but dont you agree its much more comfortable to buy a brand new laptop knowing its going to work as someone far more intelligent has created it and the warranty will keep you from spending your wives savings if anything goes wrong?

there is only one laptop to own, a Macbook Pro. also blu ray is a dead technology it will never take off. Especially since the porn industry will be using only HD-DVD meaning it will take the market share. Sony made the same freaking mistake with beta max, and I guess they didn't learn their lesson. Then again, sony makes crap these days anyways IMO.

My macbook pro is the best laptop I have ever owned, hands down. I have owned/used/supported/repaired just about every laptop manufacturer in existance. Apple still makes the best laptops in my personal and professional opinion.

Their laptops are the best IMO. The thing is, there really is no such thing as a low end mac laptop. All their notebook computers are high end, and their lower end ones, the regular mac books are mid range. So, yeah, there are not a lot of options but then again you don't need them because you are buying a good piece of equipment to begin with.
