Hi,
I need help in security issues. I want to enable next layer of security during windows startup/logon. After longer thinking about possible security addition(RADIUS,TOKEN CARDS,...), I decided(because its simplicity) to go way of SYSKEY on another media and DO NOT integrated in system. But as far as I know, it can be done only throught floppy disk. Can the CD be used for this purpose? I can make bootable CD from that floppy, but I am not sure if Windows will check CD-ROM drive in this step. And I don't want to try it on real system ;o). If someone have experience with this please answer. In other way, the only other solution will try that using WMware Workstation or similar soft. Thanks. |

Everything a floppy can do, a CD should be able to do, provded the software reading that can accept CDs ... another thing you might want to look into is flash media
