Default Just put together new computer NEED HELP!!!

I just put together a second computer for my room and im having some trouble getting it to start up. All the fans spin and the graphics card fan spins and there is no beeping but nothing shows up on screen. I put the ram in also.

Please help me. Ill post pics and will be on this and respond ASAP after you post.

Recheck all connections going to the board itself. Did you plug in the four wire 12v feed required for the cpu? That will stall a system right there. If all connections are intact you have simply received a bad board. A bad cpu would generally result in a constant repeated beeing or visual alert onsceen. With the board having power going through to the video card there isn't really anything else to look at.

4 wire 12v feed? I COULD POST PICS BECASUE I CAN"T GET IT TO WORK AND AM SO STRESSED OUT. I COULD DO THIS ON AIM IF YOU COULD HELP ME STEP BY STEP WITH MY PICS

Umm your hard drive in the first pic seem to be connected.

I've had a similar problem with my old computer. What happend was I replaced the optical drive and cleaned out the dust and removed the memory and when I reinstalled the memory it was doing the samething and in then end my 128mb stick wasnt working only my 64mb stick, so why dont you try moving the memory stick into one of the other slots or even trying a different stick of memory, and maybe connect the HDD

its not the memory and i had the hard drive connected and it didn't go on.

And you had power connected to it? Made sure the monitor was plugged in correctly on both ends? Power to absolutely everything?

ok i just noticed that by the 20 slot powersupply slot it also has an extra 4 slot thing that looks like a little power supply slot. do i need a powersupply that goes in their too??? and the power supply is pretty old and its only 195W should I just buy a new ATX case with a better powersupply and one that has the 20 prong and the 4 prong power supply cables?? IM SOO STRESSED CAN"T FIGURE IT OUT AND JUST WANT TO GET IT TO WORK.
