USB's notworking and how to find motherboard info

my laptop needed re-installing recently and since then, none of my USB's are working at all.. i have an acer travelmate 2410 and cant find any drivers on the acer website, any ideas?????

also do i need the motherboard info to find the drivers for the usb?? how do i go about finding out where i can get the motherboard info from????
