Default External Graphics Card?

Is there a such thing as an external graphics card? One that would hook up to a USB port or another port?

There is nothing, sorry. Why did you want one? To improve graphics?

I've heard news such as ATI and Acer coming out with external video cards way back in 06. I'm not sure if they did ever come out with it, but it's looking promising. Got external audio cards, why not video cards? right?

yea i wish they would come out with some becasue of the increasing size in video cards, some which make it required to upgrade to a larger case like the ATI 600 which i keep hearing rumors of.

Well, they technically exist, but nothing on the average consumer level: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060802-7409.html

They do make a few external video cards, but they dont use USB, and they arent for gaming.

Did you try the comp yet? Upgrade the drivers for the integrated graphics and run the game on its lowest settings, bringing them up slowly. I have an ancient computer right now that I'm working on upgrading once the C2Ds experience that price drop I've been hearing about. Thats what i did/do. I'm able to run quite a few games off of my intel 82845g... which sucks like frickin hell.
