There is no doubt that many of you heard that Intel will cut the prices on April 22, but intel will cut the prices even more in Q3 2007 before AMD releases Barcelona.
![]() As you see in the picture intel will cut down the price of Q6600 to $266. Intel will also replace their QX6700 with Q6700 and it will be priced at $530. Intel will also release their high-end quad core processor CPU, the QX6800. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=6488 |

But damn. Thats cheaper than an e6600 now. I wonder how long until most applications and games have updates to utilize all 4 cores properly? I was palning on making my first build this may, but maybe ill wait til june or july? |

They're trying to stop as many people as possible from buying AMD quad-cores, no matter what the cost is (they have far more cash to throw about than AMD).
'tis the nature of Capitalism.
