I think that the PSU is a tad bit of an over kill. You know that the one link is to a CD-ROM, correct? I think that two opitical drives are overkill as well these days. Burners are so cheap.... D10 cards are out now. I don't see the point in buying a D9 card now if you intend to purchase a D10 in the future. Either wait for the card you want or pop for it now. It's your money though. Does look like a nice build. don't forget thermal paste.

Good luck

Opps lol i think i got the wrong optical drive, well i'm trying to keep it under 2400$ with shipping since that's almost all i got for the new computer, i have thermal paste.

Now regarding the video, i'm waiting for the new 8XXX and that games start using directx10

Yea that power supply is rediculous and not a reliable brand.

I just built a computer for my brother using a 8800GTS card and it works perfectly under D9 games.

I'll wait for the 8600 or 8900 geforce i don't want to expend over 300$ on a graphic card that partially works atm, and anyway a 8600 should be around the same performance than the 8800 but for a better price.

I still need help on the PSU, the upgrades i'm thinking might include a change from core 2 duo to quad core around Q3 when the prices are reduce, maybe a extra hdd and 2x geforce 8900 or 8800 when prices drop later.

swing over the powersupply threads and there are plenty of good links there, but yet u can get a better psu, for way cheaper than that then u could add the extra to get ur dx10 vid card.

The Silverstone OP750 is a great PSU that will handle dual 8800GTXs without issue. At this point I have absolutely no information about what the power requirements of the 8900 series will be. If you really want a 1KW PSU that will handle just about anything, the Silverstone OP1000 is a better unit than that XClio.
