Default A little Dell Comparison

I was looking at Dells today and decided that the H2C edition was pretty sweet. SO I decided to see what I could duplicate it for.

Dell.............................................. ..... New Egg
Qx6700............................................ ...$970
Xp Media............................................. $109
motherboard....................................... ..$379 Asus striker xtreme
20 Widescreen Monitor.... ......................$264 Acer Al2051w
4gb dual channel.......................$192x2= $384 OCZ Gold series 667mhz
300 GB hard drive......................$209x2= $418 Western Digital 10k 150 gb
Dual dvd-rom and dvd-rw............$40x2= $80 take your pick
Dual Geforce 8800 gtx................$550x2= $1100 take your pick
Soundblaster x-fi extreme music .............$140 x-fi Fatality
Case...Thermaltake Armor........................$150 $25 back later
power supply...OCX1000pXs.....................$339 $30 back later
Water cooling..Silverstone SST-TD01B.......$306
1 yr warranty.......................................... Fix it yo-self..at least that on all
$5499............................................. .....$4639

that leaves me $860

which I can:
1. Upgrade to a Acer AL2423wadr..........add $335....delete 20'
2. Dual R-600s ..................................add $100....delete dual 8800gtxs
3. Seagate barracuda 750 GB...............add $60....delete 1 150 gb 10k
4. Logitech z-5500.............................add $292
.................................................. ...........$887 I'm $17 over

WAIT!...NO TAXES!

that leaves another $367......Logitech MX5000................$115 Powercon King Pro KIN 2200ap 1320w power protection.....$250

ANY Questions?

Yes, Newegg is always better then buying from Dell, and you have the fun and enjoyment of building it yourself

BUILD!!!! *pause* BUILD!!!! *pause* BUILD!!!!

I see components that you do not need, such as 4Gb of RAM. That is overkill, not necessary.
