Help Setting Up a Wireless Network

Hi,

I have a Netgear wireless router and 1 x Desktop and 1 x Laptop that are both wireless for accessing the internet etc, What I want to know is can I use the wireless set up so that the Laptop can access what is stores on the desktop and also print wirelessly though the desktop to the printer?

I am using Windows XP on both.

use the set up small office and home network function under control panel and network connections.
