Default iPod

Okay I presently have an iPod 80gb version. I was wondering is there any way to put on a dvd that you own? I have several movies that I would Like to put on and several music video dvd's, is there a way to do that? I pop in the dvd like I would a CD to copy it over to iTunes, but nothing happens, just the WMP pops up and starts the movie. Can this be done?

Yes, but I do not think we can discuss that here due to the legality matter.

If, say, you were copying a DVD that was not copywrited, I would suggest that you find some program that could convert a DVD to AVI or MPG... shouldn't be too hard to find. Otherwise it's illegal and I do not recommend anything.
