Default If i buy a Zalman 9500 CPU cooler...

i'm gonna buy one for AMD socket 939....but if i switch over to an Intel CPU later can i still use it?I know that there's a difference in the socket mounts but when i buy the cooler do i have to specify that i want it for s.939 or does the different bolts etc. come all in the same package?
Thanks.

When I purchased mine it came with a whole mess of screws and brackets and what not. It comes with everything you need to mount it on the sockets it is compatible with. This is an excellent HSF, but it requires a little patience and some tools to use it. There is a reason why it comes with a 6 inch allen wrench. It is worth it though one of the best after market HFS's out there IMO.

Good luck, let us know how the install went and before and after temps.

Cheers for the help ETSA, so you're 100% sure that if i order it i won't have the specify that it is for s.939.But i'm gonna specify anyway cause i don't want any confusion. The thing is that on the official Zalman web site they divide the AMD and Intel coolers in different sections hence the cofusion. But if you say that it comes with all the different bits so it;s compatible with amd's and intels then thats cool.

It has attachments for all modern sockets except AM2.I still have the LGA775 bracket in my extras box.
