Hello,
I might be selling my laptop in order to buy a Tablet pc. My question is this: if I restore this laptop that I have, I want it to be like new, I don't want anyone to see anything I did on it or saved on it. When I restore though, it remembers all of the bookmarks, pictures, pretty much everything. How do I get all of that out of it? Now, I will warn you now that I know next to nothing about computers! So if anyone could tell me how to do this step-by-step, I would really appreciate it! Thanks! ![]() |

Sounds like you're just doing a recovery option or something, not a full restore. Look for a Factory Restore option. Or if you have a windows CD, format the hard drive and reload.
