which os should i choose

i've just done a new build which os should i use? it is vista ready but all the forums say wait! should i fork out for xp or get linux as its free and think about vista later?

Get xp if you are a gamer, if you aren't a gamer go with xp since it work in both things

I'd stick with the one you know best. I plan on staying with XP. They can pry it out of my cold, dead hands! LOL
