Default Internet explorer x64 and flash

Ok so Internet explorer x64 (on vista 64 hp) does not have support for flash yet, this i can live with. However everytime i load a page that contains flash, even this one it will prompt me to install it which is very.. very.. anoying. I have disabled activeX and this stops that message but replaces it by the yellow bar at the top all the time, now im not a perfectionist or anything but it really bugs me is there another way to disable it?

hahaha, i know exactly what you're talking about

i thought it was just a problem with my laptop

i didn't realize it was just incompatable with the x64 ie

i don't know how to fix it, i installed it every time it asked me in vain, thinking maybe one time it would stop bothering me

i've since switched back to x86 windows, tho, so i never did find a fix

i always used the x86 ie in 64, since the x64 version doesn't even work with windows update.....

the only actual x64 program i had much success with was 7zip x64, which was NOTICEABLY faster than the x32 counterpart
