What browser are you running there? IE 7 has a new antiphising filter that will even block access to some sites by default due to it being enabled by default as well as IE 7's higher default security settings. Make sure the popup blocker in IE is also disabled as well. But the "fist" sounds like some of additional 3rd party item there.

A 3rd party software would be any additional security program like an internet security protecter putting up a block for certain types of sites. The antiphishing filter in IE 7 can also be hampering you there. If that is active try disabling that in the security section. The image of a fist does suggest that some program and not any Microsoft security feature is the problem there.

Is it a red fist?
Have you got installed another pop up blocker? Look at this site http://askbobrankin.com/red_fist_appears.html |

Thx for all ur replies...
That link helped out as it pointed me in the right direction. It was my earthlink software running in the background. Tried setting the blocker off but that didnt work so I just uninstalled the software since I never used it anyways. Works great now. Im protected by norton so that should be OK. |

Glad to see you found the software involved. Protection from Norton?
I see more HT logs posted with Norton or McAfee that with any other protection inplace. ! When you decide to upgrade sometime from Norton to another retail product take a look at http://www.trendmicro.com/en/products/us/personal.htm
