Default Avast just found five billion viruses on my comp...

This morning when I woke up, the Avast Antivirus window had popped up telling me a virus was found. I clicked "Move to chest" and immediately another one popped up-this continued for 20 or so times and so far has not stopped. It's finding trojans in my temp folder for ALL sorts of keygen files (for programs I did not download, most of which I have never even heard of). I suppose my roomates could have downloaded them when I wasn't around, so I'll have to ask them before I justify my state of panic...but in the meantime, has this ever happened to you guys??? Seriously - like TWENTY warnings came up, each for different crack.exe files in my temp folder. I'm scared! Help!

Sometimes scientists make things alot harder than they need to. All they've gotta do is put a big spring on the ground where they think it's gonna land, or send a mission to the moon to erect a sign that says "Welcome to Earth".
