Exclamation Blue screen of death!!!

My friend has a XPS(Extreme Peice of shit) from Dell, and while he was gaming it frooze. When he restarted it, it gave him the blue screen of death every time he tried to turn it on, safe mode or not. I tried everything i could think of, from reseting the BIOS to simply switching the RAM, nothing worked, just kept getting that blue screen of death. It keeps saying Floppy diskette seek failure, no floppy drive is even installed, so i dont know wtf it wants.

The error message is:

STOP: 0x00000024 (0x00190203,0x81COE268,0xC0000102,ox0000000)

It's having a problem reading from the HDD.

Stick a HDD with XP in there and set it to master, and the old one as slave and take what you need off the other one and format it and stick XP back on it.

Then put it in as the master, it should work.

blow it up and start a new

but why not boot with the XP CD in it, and reinstall? it should go to the install, before death screen comes up.
