how big are the tiffs, have you changed photo shop. Have you installed something. Have you ran virus and adware scanner, have you tries opening smaller tiffs, have you tried opening tiff in other apps, have you tried opening non tiffs with photoshop, have you tried reinstalling photoshop. All these things are worth a shot and without much more detail there is no much we can do.
