The NRA is one-sided in every aspect of guns. Do you think they will give a FAIR comparison about gun control and crime rates if it speaks against what they promote? No. They pick and choose certain studies that they like, and post them up on there website hoping nobody will actually look any further into the matter. Go look at an "anti-NRA" website, they will also have studies and demographics that prove exactly opposite of what the NRA says. It's a lose/lose argument, there is no clear and concise answer to our "gun problem." Different studies give different results worldwide, different solutions work in different places.

And just FYI, I am pro-gun although I don't run with the herd (NRA). I just can't stand one sided arguments that don't give you the WHOLE truth on an issue.

whatever the thinking on the NRA weather for there thinkin or not....there are tomany gun control laws out there and that is not the problem...there is no real punishment for crimminals and that should be the cause of high gun crimes...because after you take all the guns away and people start stabbing there neighbors do we take all the knifes and folks away?????and if you want to talk about deadly weapons go look up the death rate of drunk drivers and auto ACCIDENTS..do we take all the cars away and make people use public transportation..if you did that you would save 100 of thousands lives each year and billions on insurance and medical payments...the idea of taking something away from the people because other people think it cant be used correctly is called a dictatorship, so if all the people that dont like guns can move to Canada...or some other country they think is better off...

guns don't kill people people kill people, I am pro-gun but I wouldn't trust the NRA OR any anti-NRA site. They will try to twist the data to the way they want you to understand it

you are correct about your 1st statement...so punish the people that pull the triger...mabe 1 reason no other country has tried to invade the USA is because of its armed citizens....just the wacky terrorists taking pot shots..but that is another thread someone could start...

why not..it seems everyone is flowing over our borders like flood water that want to live here, just reverse it for the people that dont..

Just because someone has different ideals than you doesn't mean they don't want to live in the USA. These days alot of people illegaly come into the USA because they know they can get a FREE ride, thanks to our slack rules and "Everyone should jsut get along and be happy" thinking.

I see plenty of illegals in the town I live in, and have asked a group before, "Are you illegal?" The ones who could understand me, all said yes. You drive up to the gas station and they rush to your car thinking you are offering them a job (that's how it works here.) All I wanted was gas, but I thought it would be an interesting question. Nobody here does anything about it, even the police. Gas station owner doesn't care if they stand behind the sho pall day as long as they don't cause trouble or leave a mess. Like I was saying, FREE RIDE.
