That's a terrible general question, It all depends on what fits your needs the best.
So you should know what do you want to use the CPU for and decided which one to buy. FX processors tend to be more powerful than X2 But it will be a waste of money if you get FX when you don't really need it. |

well the x2 is dual core where as up until the fx-60 the fx line is single core. Depends on what you use your computer for, the fx chip will give you better performance. If you can afford go with the fx, but if not the x2 is still a very good chip.

Seems to me like he's just looking for mid to high end processor... just trying to find a good deal and not being too picky. Nothing to criticize him over.
