world of warcraft lag

hello, i play world of warcraft and it laggs so bad that i can not even really play the game. my dad has a big firewall up and i have made the game under exceptions. world of warcraft is the only program that i am running and I don't think that my computers specs are too low. please give me some ideas. thanks!

Check your ping. Maybe you are playing on a server halfway across the world. Also, are you graphics settings to high for your comp?

I would be with Simon in this turn down all the graphics to low as they can go and try it again

Yea if I would guess on anything it is the graphics. The graphics is way to high for your computer so turning them down might help alot.

What are the current specs in your computer? Also have you downloaded the latest drivers for your GPU? My WoW performance was lacking and all I had to do was DL the drivers. Slowness in WoW is primarily in the GPU or your RAM, from what I've seen.
