Default Windows 2000 Pro or Windows ME

Hi there my girlfriend's computer is running Windows XP but you know keeps crashing and freezing up on her. So shes like what can we do so it's more stable for now. So I suggested that I take off Windows XP and either put 2000 Pro or ME on it. Now she used to be running 98 with a 233Mhz processor and 128 Ram with 3.10 Gb Hard drive. My question is which operating system should I put on? Pro's and Con's of each, cause Ive never used them enough to know.

2000 by far! I still run 2000 on some machines. I really liked it better than XP!

Use Windows 2000. Windows ME is by far the worst operating system ever produced.

It was a rushed operating system that microsoft pushed out cause XP was taking to long and it is full of bugs and was overall just rushed to try to get it out on time.
