I recently reformatted my hard drive and when going back and reinstalling everything, I noticed that my speakers were no longer working. I checking my sound settings and my computer wasn't even recognizing that a sound card was installed.
The problem is, I am almost 100% sure I did not install a sound card when I built my PC, I simply used the motherboards built in sound card. From what I remember the first day I put everything together, the speakers just worked when I plugged them in. I'm wondering what I need to do to get my computer to recognize the speakers that I'm trying to use. |
