Thumbs up Windows XP Login Problem

I have problem with my two IBM desktop pcs

There was problem srarts with one pc
problem is OS(xp pro sp2) is not starting properly
the Xp login thing coming after puting login name and password
when I am pressing enter to or clicking on OK it gets log off automaticaly.
Same thing happening is Safe Mode.
The HDD of this PC have only One Drive that is C: Drive.

Then I tried to take back up of this HDD
what I Done that I was connected that HDD to other PC as a Secondery.
The OS Starts but one unbeliveable thing I found that os Starts from PC 2 HDD and C Drive showing of PC 1 HDD when its slave drive.

Means

HDD 1(SLAVE) have only one Drive that is "C:" & HDD 2 (MAster) HAVE two drives that is " D: & E: "
C: - D: & E:

{" c: " = HDD 1 (Slave) ---- " D: & E: " = HDD 2 (Mster)} HOW IS IT POSSIBLE ?

The Thing is when I booted the 2nd PC the same problem strats with 2nd HDD (After puting Login NAme & PAssword is gets logoff directly)
SOLUTION PLEASE

My brain hurts just from trying to decode this heap of incoherence.

From what I gather... you try to log on and it logs you off right away? Does it fully load windows first... or are you using the wrong password?

If it fully loads windows first, then it sounds like you're looking at some type of malware, because there is no reason for windows to do that on it's own... and if you can't get in through safe mode... you're definitely looking at a OS repair, possibly a reinstallation.
