I just installed it after downloading a copy. So Microsoft produced another red herring by removing the Hal.dll and EAX support all together then. Hopefully you run a game with OpenAL support. That also explains the note seen at the download page for the Vista updates now seen about not having the EAX support included. Fortunately SoF and SoF II made the list of games that will use the OpenAL! Now let's see how 007 Nightfire runs?
