Laptop Driver

I recently purchased a laptop with a 7900gs in it. I did not receive any driver for the gpu.
But I can play games and stuff on it.
I have a 7900gs in my desktop to. I received a driver for that. If I put that in my laptop, will any thing happen? Like will I accomplish anything?
The cd I have for the desktop, is 2000/XP. That probably wont work since I use vista home premium on my laptop.

Different drivers are used for desktop and laptop cards.

If you really thought about it, you would say "hmm, maybe I should check the nVidia site!" Well I did, and heres the driver

I didnt know you had Vista, the drivers I linked to were for 2000/XP.
