Question DDR Memory / DDR2 Memory / Dual Channel DDR/2 Memory

Hello All!

Just wanted to know what the differences are between these types of memory:

DDR
DDR2
Dual Channel DDR
Dual Channel DDR2

What are the the advantages/disadvantages of each? What are the differences? Is there any website you can link me to so I can read more about them? Perhaps some comparison testing review sites?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

basically the only difference is speed. DDR2 has more bandwidth but slower timings and dual channel setups 'double' the bandwidth.
this should help you out a bit http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mem...play/ddr2.html
