I'm chuckling here because I see the thread just before this one is about sound coming out too slow...and it appears to be the same type of sound card....
Just picked up an old Dell Optiplex150, Windows 2000...I installed a better video card..so my LOTR games run. But sound is really speeded up (Gandalf sounds more like Legolas). The onboard( I think) sound says "AC97". I've fiddled around with the hardware acceleration and that didn't seem to help. Any other suggestions? Drivers? What website would I go to for drivers? |

LOL that is pretty funny to have that kind of effects going on. I mean initially, I had some driver issues with a sound card before and every song I played, the singer sounded like chipmunks.
