I've got a media file that i downloaded, via Limewire.....and then when i went to play it, the pc like froze up and the file renamed. And now it wont delete
ive tried right clicking, pressing delete but nothing
it doesn't even have the "properties option wen u right click"

this is wat i get

I'm afraid to ask...what was the original file name, and what did it change to?
Also, I can't see your picture.

doesnt sound like ur gonna be able to do very much...u might have to delete the whole folder it's in...try scanning for errors on the harddrive, if it finds any let it fix em

well the origanal file name was a video of some sports, then when downloaded it renamed (i didn't not rename it, it did itself) to
"kids gets hit by car hard.mpeg"

Tryed scanning for errors with CCleaner and reg mechanic, Norton does not seem to get anything.

Yeah the image did not work for some reason, it showed the option i had when right clicking on the file which are.

Play
Add to windows media player list
Open with..
send to..
play on my..

any further suggestions?

If you used the handy search tool you would have found the answer for this as I answered this before.
Again
Take out all the files you want from the Shared folder of limewire.
Just leave the file you want to delete in it
open CMD
go to the directory that contains the Shared folder, and write this "del shared"

i did use the search tool, but did not find exactly what i was looking for..

don't mean to sound a bit "noob"...but i've gone to start, then run, type in CMD to get that up.
but then don't know what to do next.
as the file is in "my videos"...
