From looking at the description, no it will not fit in 3.5" bays. It needs 3 consecutive 5.25" bays and converts them into 4 internal 3.5" bays

1) a single 3.5" bay?
2) why? without running at ridiculous rpms (= very noisy) a fan that small will hardly have any impact on airflow
