I just got a Zalman 5.1 External sound card. When I try to play music through it I get a constant static type noise thats very crackly throughout all of it. All of my connections are fine, I've reinstalled drivers, and done countless restarts/reconnecting. Also when I'm listening to music the strength will vary and will bounce from speaker to speaker as if it were doing a speaker testing.
There have been times where I have had it working perfectly for 10 mins or so but it would stop working and go back to being static and crackles. Any ideas? |

You're connections may look fine, but some of the inputs may be bad. I've had the same problems with my sound card inputs. That's the only thing I can think of at the moment.
