Talking random HD cut outs.

last year or so. i had a new HD put in ( but i kept my old one ).
the story is, oneday i was playin a game then all of the sudden i hear one of my HD's turn off.

it keeps happening randomly. i think its my old one because every time i open a file off that HD it has to load first, while as the current one im using, things open instantly.

anyone know whats going on?

Have you gotten any errors? Are you sure it's not just a power saving feature you have enabled?
