outlook express
i just had to use my recovery disk on my laptop, pretty sad. now my problem is that i can no longer use outlook to view my email (hotmail free account). I have a pc with a different hotmail account and can and do use outlook with no problem. Microsoft claims it no longer supports free hotmail accounts. only the paid stuff. can anyone help me use my outlook express on my laptop. thanks hollywoodmarine.

i think you found the reason already. Im pretty sure hotmail doesnt work with pop anymore. When i recently started using outlook '03, I changed my email to gmail because hotmail didnt work. I think you might have to get a new email client if you want to use outlook
