I wanted to get some ram for my comp. I went to crucial.com (link below) and they showed me what my comp is compatible with. (It says that my comp can handle up to 2048MB).
http://www.crucial.com/index.asp (For the link above go to "Crucial Memory Advisor™ Tool", and put in, eMachines, where is says select a manufacture. Then put ,eMachines Desktops, where it says select your eMachines product line. Then last put in, T1862, where it says select your eMachines desktops model. That should take you to my comps memory specks). Now this is what I found on newegg, but I'm not sure if this is the right ram .http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145439 Is this right? And if it is right, is there another 1GB Valuepack that is cheaper then the one I found?

You have the right type of Ram. (make sure its PC-2700) but you only have two slots to put ram into. and one of those will be taken up by whatever ram you have in there now. SO theres no point buying two sticks.
If you want another gig of ram the make sure its in 1 stick. Also make sure its DDR |
