Default Tv tuner card

I have Dish Network so i have the box that the cable goes through, so my question is if i can have the cable line from the box go to my TV and split off and go to my computer also, will i be able to watch 2 channels at once? Even though the cable would be hooked to both the TV and the TV tuner card? Or would i only be able to watch one channel at a time?

No, you'd need two DTV boxes to watch two channels simultaneously.

If your box has Svid pipe that into the PC and use the coax for the TV. This will allow you to either watch or record one program at a time.

If you meant splitting the cable from the wall to both the DTV box and the PC then I don't think the PC feed would work w/o the box. I think the feed before the box would be encrypted.

My $0.02
Cheers

You can only watch one channel at the same time with that configuration.
