Nothing malicious, but a few things that can be removed. Are you having any particular problems?
You have
Viewpoint installed.
Viewpoint Media Player/Manager/Toolbar is considered as
foistware instead of malware since it is installed without users approval but doesn't spy or do anything bad.
I suggest you remove the program now. Go to
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.
- Viewpoint
- Viewpoint Manager
- Viewpoint Media Player
- Viewpoint Toolbar
- Viewpoint Experience Technology
Please run HijackThis and choose
Do a system scan only.
Place a check next to the following entries:
- O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
- O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Alcmtr] ALCMTR.EXE
If you elected to remove Viewpoint, please also check the following entry (if still present):
- O23 - Service: Viewpoint Manager Service - Viewpoint Corporation - C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exe
Please close all open windows except for HijackThis and choose
Fix checked
