Shame on all of us for having to have a thread about helping people who haven't been helped! Isn't CF a help forum???

Everyone gets a slap on the wrist!

This thread has been a reminder to myself to do that search and help out.

Since im usually on the forum pretty often, I just click on "new posts", and glance over all the new threads, and if something sounds interesting or the title sounds like something where I could really help out, i'll read it and respond.

But a note to people making threads, to get more attention and possible replies, make the title descriptive. Dont just say "problem with my computer, need help!"

Reminder to everyone, this is a good idea. I helped out on a couple threads several days ago, and it has led to many more intelligent posts than mine... sometimes all you need is a suggestion and the problem thread will be solved in the matter of a few posts. They aren't necessarily hard to answer, we just let them slide to the bottom of the forum

Heh, I've been doing it quite a bit today... suprising how many good posts die, and how many easy problems go unsolved.

I pretty much just answered like six of them, but i have to go to bed! this is better than random looking around, which is what i usually do. I just wish i knew more about networking and linux and whatnot.
