hey so Im looking to upgrade my computer and ive gotten a bit of advice already on what processors and mobos would be a good bet for me but I was hopign you guys could help a brother out too lol Im hoping to keep the motherboard under 100 bucks and im unsure if i should buy a new processor and then think about a mobo or a mobo then processor or buy them both at once or what so i was hoping you guys could help me out there too right now I have an AMD Athlon XP 2500+ processor Im unsure as to what Ill be upgrading to my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 and ill probably have that one a while longer tho i wanna get a newer one as well if you need mroe info about my computer or whatever just let me know

It would be good to upgrade your processor as well as your motherboard to a newer socket such as AMD's AM2 or Intel's LGA775. Both of those generally use DDR2 Ram. You might be able to find an LGA775 motherboard that still supports AGP graphics and normal DDR ram, but it might be well worth your money to just upgrade your Processor, Motherboard, Ram, and Video card all at the same time.
