How could i use both and would there be an increase in speed? I have a wired LAN connection

No. It just means you can be connected to 2 networks at a time.

Yeah you can't bridge them together. Having two would just means you can connect to two networks and I have found that you ALWAYS use the one you first connect to for internet if both networks have internet.
