Default power usage benchmark?

Would anyone happen to know if there are any benchmarking utilities that can measure how many watts are being used up by the system?

The best thing to do if you want to get really anal-retentive about details, is to turn off every appliance in your house and just have the computer plugged in, and then watch your power meter on the side of your house.
